We measure a candidate's overall suitability (technical and behavioral) in multiple steps, eliminating at each step. Yes, as usual it starts with a written test, followed by an interview. And then we ask the candidate to take an assignment test where we ask the candidate to develop a small program. And here is the most critical step: we put the candidate at work in our office for two weeks and gather information about his/her behavioral parameters such as professional maturity, team spirit, ability to work independently, communication etc. Then the recruitment team gathers feedback regarding the performance. Only when all is found well we recruit the candidate.
